This cave originated in the early 19th century under the reign of King Minh Mang. The name " Am Phu cave" consists of the journey to Thuy Son of the King, he noticed the eerie atmosphere of the cave. So, the King decided to put the name of Am Phu following the Yin-Yang philosophy.
