Bao Dai Palace I is situated on Tran Quang Dieu, Ward 10, Dalat city, Lam Dong, about 4kkm east south of Dalat city center. 

The place was built from 1949 to 1955, as one of the headquarter of King Bao Dai during he was a Head of State. In 1956, Bao Dai Palace I became as Ngo Dinh Diem government used this place exclusively for the President.

This Palace I has an area of about 60ha, constructed on a hill 1550m above sea level and surrounded by a large pine forest. 

This point that you are surprised when coming to Palace 1, this is an entrance to the Palace which is a paved road with two rows of tall, ancient cajuput trees. Nowadays, the palace has remained the original color match used before. Located in the yard of the Palace, you will see a large flower garden.

Bao Dai Palace II was built from 1933 to 1937, was the office of the Governor General of Indochina before its the workplace and retreat of Bao Dai King.There were many important political and diplomatic meetings at the Palace II. 

The architecture of Bao Dai King Palace II includes a ground floor, an upper floor and a basement and 25 luxurious rooms. The building is covered with yellow sediment stone, attracting visitors with a large screen featuring 22 Chinese poems by Emperor Tu Duc with the pieces reminiscent of royal palaces. The tunnels connected Bao Dai King Palace I and II are long, and bring many interesting experiences for you to explore.

This Palace was the main retreat for the Bao Dai King's family and is associated with many memories of the last emperor in Vietnam.
