Han river, also known as Han Giang, begins at the confluence of the river, the confluence between Cam Le and Vinh Dien rivers.
In the French colonial period, local people called this river the Danang river. The river starts at the source from a south-north direction, flowing through the city center into Danang Bay with a length of about 7.2km.
