Tan Son Nhat terminal guide 

Tan Son Nhat Airport (IATA: SGN) operates across three passenger terminals. Knowing which terminal your flight arrives at before you land saves time and prevents the most common source of missed pickups — your driver waiting at T2 while you exit from T3.

Here is how the terminals are divided as of 2026.

Terminal T2 - international arrivals (all carriers except VietJet)

T2 is the primary international terminal at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. If you are flying in on any international carrier other than VietJet Air, including Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Emirates, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, or any other foreign-flag operator, you will arrive at T2.

After clearing immigration and customs, you exit through the main gate into a designated meet and greet zone. Your driver will be positioned here, holding a sign with your name, within the approved waiting area directly past the customs exit. Do not exit through any side doors or follow touts offering rides. You walk straight through to the main hall.

Terminal T1 — VietJet international arrivals (Hall A)

T1 serves all domestic and international VietJet Air flights. If you are arriving on a VietJet international route, you will land at T1 and exit through Hall A. 

This is a point of frequent confusion for first-time arrivals. Passengers booked on VietJet international routes sometimes assume they will arrive at T2 alongside other international carriers. They do not. Confirm your operating carrier on your boarding pass before your flight and notify us at booking. We will position your driver at the correct hall from the outset.

Terminal T3 — domestic arrivals (Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways)

T3 serves domestic flights operated by Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways only. T3 is located approximately 2 km from T2 and is not walkable between terminals. If you are on a connecting itinerary that involves a domestic leg into Ho Chi Minh City on either of these carriers, your arrival point is T3.

Passengers connecting from an international flight at T2 to a domestic departure at T3 or vice versa should factor in the inter-terminal distance. We recommend allowing a minimum of 90 minutes for any connection involving T2 and T3.

The Tan Son Nhat to Vung Tau distance is approximately 120 km via the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway and the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway. 

Travel time is 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes depending on traffic. This is a high-frequency route for oil and gas sector expats based on offshore platforms and onshore facilities in the Vung Tau corridor.

The Tan Son Nhat to Mui Ne distance is approximately 200 km via the expressway to Dau Giay and then provincial roads through Phan Thiet, taking 3 hours to 3 hours 30 minutes. Weekend leisure route, expat families and foreign tourists heading to beach resorts.

Saigon airport is about 440km from Nha Trang, taking about 5-6 hours. On the way, you can visit many attractions. All intercity transfers are priced separately from standard city zone rates. Request a quote with your exact pickup terminal, destination address, and required arrival time.

There is no additional charge for child seat provision. Is there Wi-Fi in the car?

Yes. All vehicles in our fleet carry 4G Wi-Fi onboard as standard. The connection covers the full journey from Tan Son Nhat to your destination.
