How to get to Tan Lap Floating Village? 

Tan Lap Floating market is about 100km from Ho Chi Minh city. It takes about 3 hours to transfer from Saigon to Tan Lap. 

The floating village originated from the village's history of seasonal floods. In the land that remained submerged year-round, the people built homes on high mounds . When water levels rose, the floors rose still accordingly. So, Tan Lap is known as the floating village and has become the  Tan Lap Floating Village Eco-Tourism Zone nowadays. 

There are many ways to get to Tan Lap such as by bus, private car, or motorbike. From Saigon, toward National Highway 1A to Tan An city, following National Highway 62 to Moc Hoa district to Tan Lap floating village. Besides, you can depart from Cu Chi town to Ben Luc district, turn right at the end of the road, and go over 35km to Tan Lap.
