Buu Thanh  - The Royal Tomb Enclosure

How to Get to the Minh Mang tomb?

Minh Mang tomb is about 12 km away from Hue city. It takes about 22 minutes to get to the tomb. There are many ways to transfer the Tomb of Minh Mang by car, boat, and motorbike. 

From the city center, cross the Da Vien Bridge toward Dien Bien Phu Street, then continue on Minh Mang Street. At the intersection of Minh Mang Street and Highway 49, you follow Highway 49 for 6 km more and see Minh Mang's tomb. 

You can sit in a boat in the beautiful Huong river to admire an appealing Hue with peaceful villages on the banks of the river.

  • The best time to visit Minh Mang's tomb is from January to September, about 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon.

  • Don't snap photos in some area that hangs out NO CAMERA 
  • Be mindful of children as the tomb is surrounded by lakes. 
  • Go along the entrance; you can see construction on the path.
