White Palace, called Bach Dinh or Villa Blanche Vung Tau,  was constructed in 19th century European architecture. The Palace is 19 meters tall, 28 meters long, and 15 meters wide.

After 4 years to build from 1898, White Palace Vung Tau was completed, was a resort for Emperor Bao Dai, past presidents of the Republic of Vietnam, and the Governor of Indochina. 

This Palace used to keep King Thanh Thai captive from September 12, 1907, to 1916 by French colonial authorities. Then, the authorities recognized the White Palace as a national historical and cultural relic on August 4, 1992.
