History of Saigon Opera House
Ho Chi Minh City Opera House was constructed in 1898 with French architecture design. This place spans a total area of 3,200m2. On 1st January 1900, Saigon Opera House was first inaugurated.
The initial purpose of the Opera House was served for entertaining the growing middle class. The appearance of nightclubs, music bars, and a large number of passengers didn't come to the Opera house. There are some small performances to perform at the theater.
