7H30 - 8H00: Our driver will pick you up the gate of Halong Port. Then, we start a shore excursion tour for a day to Hai Phong and Halong from Halong Port. 

9H00: The first attraction that we will visit is the Battle of Bach Dang River, which took place in 938 and was fought by the Vietnamese revolutionary troops. Mr. Ngo Quyen was in charge of the combat. In the process of putting a stop to centuries of Chinese imperial dominance in Vietnam, he was successful in defeating the invading forces of the Southern Han state of China. It also took place at the Bach Dang River, which is located in the northern region of Vietnam, close to Halong Bay.

During the history of Vietnam, the victory at Bach Dang brought an end to the first thousand years of Chinese dominance over Vietnam, often known as "The Long Eclipse." This victory also marked the beginning of the country’s independence era.

After that, make your way back to the city of Hai Phong to look at the ancient Du Hang pagoda. About three hundred years ago, they discovered the Du Hang Pagoda. The structure has been restored multiple times since then, yet it continues to be an excellent example of traditional Vietnamese architecture and sculpture. We are going to stay here for thirty minutes.
