Saigon authority formerly designated Bui Vien street which is the second walking street, following Nguyen Hue street on August 20th 2017. 

The people here don't think that Bui Vien street is such a bustling area as it is today. Before the stage of 1975s, this street was called International Intersection which is five streets surrounding Nguyen Van Hao cinema. 

After 1975, Bui Vien street Saigon made it famous with tourists, especially for backpackers, Vietnamese name "Tay Ba Lo". 

Almost all visitors to Bui Vien street are from the US, UK and france. As its visitors came to crowed, many restaurants, shops, bars, cafes and hotels was built, operating all of day.
