How to travel to My Tho and Ben Tre from Ho Chi Minh City?

1. If you go by train

Mien Tay bus station in Ho Chi Minh City is a large local bus station for Ho Chi Minh City go to Mekong Delta. Each 1 hour will have 1 trip from ho chi minh to My Tho bus station or Ben Tre bus station. The journey will take around 2 hours.

3. If you go by motorbike

For whom likes backpacking tourism, you can also travel by motorbike from Ho Chi Minh city to My Tho. This will be a very interesting experience.

My Tho and Ben Tre are not far from Ho Chi Minh City, there are 70km from city center to My Tho and 80km to Ben Tre.  From Ho Chi Minh City center, move to Binh Chanh. After reaching Binh Thuan Overpass, turn into Highway 1A and go straight to My Tho. From My Tho you can turn right to Nguyen Thi Thap Street go over Rach Mieu Bridge will arrive Ben Tre. It takes 2 – 2.5 hours.

History of Ben Tre
