The Po Nagar Towers are one of several relics to the Champa Kingdom, which governed South Vietnam from 200 to 1720 AD. Po Nagar Cham Towers is also called as Yang Po In̰ Nagar or Yang Pô Ana Gar and were built from the 8th to 13th centuries. 

It was the first tower to be constructed entirely out of wood to worship Queen Jagadharma.

To pay homage to the goddess Bhagavati, the tower was reconstructed using long-lasting materials during the reign of Prithi. 

Satyavarman then used bricks to rebuild it after it had been destroyed and was finished in 784. After, King Harivarman I and his son Vikrantavarman III built more five towers. 

Bricks were used in the construction of each of these towers, and they were embellished with stone and ceramic art.
