The nearly seventy-year-old original building has been home to four generations. Mua Sua Pao was the original owner. Mua Phai Tua, Pao's grandson, inherits the home because both Pao and his son passed away there in 1979 and 1980.'

Featuring Do Hai Yen as an H'Mong girl named Pao, the 2006 film "The Story of Pao" used the house and the surrounding Lung Cam Tren Village in Sung La Commune as its setting.

Filmgoers will also learn about the H'Mong ethnic group in Ha Giang Province and their vibrant culture, spirituality, and human emotions. It premiered at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival after winning a Golden Kite Award in 2005.

Lung Cam Tren Village, where the home is located, is adorned with stone walls, unique homes, and winding walkways that lead to flower gardens and orchards.

The house looks like a painting from a distance. On the right side of the home, blooming bushes of wild but exquisite flowers set the mood for romance, as does the old, leaning cherry blossom tree at the gate.

The house features a brown tile roof, timber walls, and an earth foundation. The owner and his visitors can access the upper story of the building using wooden ladders at the front. Many guests are impressed by the way the three sections of the house wrap around the modest stone-paved yard.

Visitors are cordially invited to explore the home's main living area, bedrooms, storage area, and kitchen with the owner and his family. The housekeeper is an elderly woman named Muu Sinh Gia who is happy to pose for pictures with visitors.

Numerous photographs of past and present residents decorate the walls. The family's staple foods, including rice, pumpkin, and corn, are stored in the warehouse and kitchen, along with a rice mill and a dirt stove. When people come to the building on chilly days, they may rest well knowing that the beds are situated near a stove and wrapped in bright blankets.

Even though the house has become a popular tourist destination, the residents continue with their everyday routines.
