All Things You Should Know Before Travelling to Vung Tau
Vung Tau city or Ba Ria-Vung Tau is close Ho Chi Minh city and 100km from away this city. It is a famous port city in Vietnam. It has long sandy beaches which stretch along the coastline. Along the 20km coastline It has many beautiful beaches such as Truoc (Front), Sau (Back), Vong Nguyet, Dua (Pineapple), etc. All are ideal for sunbathing, swimming and leisure.
Situated in Vung Tau Peninsula, Vung Tau City is one of a few places on the mainland where can admire sunrise and sunset on the sea beautifully.
In addition, Vung Tau city also has many unique relics such as Vung Tau Lighthouse, Jesus Statue, Niet Ban Tinh Xa Pagoda, Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda, Long Son Large House, etc.

When is the best time to visit Vung Tau?
Being in the tropical climate zone therefore visitor can visit this coastline city all year round. It has two separate seasons
The rainy season is from May to October and the dry season is from November to April. The temperature is around 27 degrees, while lowest is 24 degrees and highest is 29 degrees.
How to get to Vung Tau?
+ By bus
The bus is the common transportation to Vung Tau by local people. Therefore, there are many bus daily to this city. They are Phuong Trang, Kumho Samco, Hoa Mai, Toan Thang, ect bus companies for choice to travel. It takes around 1.5 – 2 hours to reach Vung Tau. Each 30 minutes has 1 bus leave the bus station depend on each bus company

+ By motorbike
Motorbike is one of common transportation to Vung Tau for young people. It takes around 3 hours to reach Vung Tau beach city.
+ By speedboat
Speedboat is available daily between Ho Chi Minh city and Vung Tau city. It takes around 1.5 hour to reach the city. Some speedboat companies are Vina Express, Petro Pacific Express and Green lines. Address is in Nha Rong Wharf in Ho Chi Minh city. Price is from 7 usd to 12 usd/ticket.

Da Nang is a city of bridges, growing rapidly with resort construction attempting redefine itself from the transit center to the destinations. The Hue Imperial City, rich in political history is two hours drive north. At the other direction, the cultural jewel of Hoi An is just forty minutes south. Both are notable travel destinations, which absolutely merit a visit.
Why Da Nang is Special?
Da Nang's 1 million residents and hotels' construction boom are left somewhere in an awkward middle ground. Although boasting a few temples and government buildings, some modern bridges really puts Danang on the international map.
That leaves the beaches, which, for just as far as I sound like a negative Nancy, are actually quite striking. Da Nang has 92 kilometre of coastline. There are roughly 3 separate beach regions of varying popularity and features: The North part of Da Nang includes Xuan Thieu Beach and Thanh Binh Beach facing Da Nang Bay. Both are offer incredible white sand, blue water and fewer tourists, additionally lack many facilities. It is the best beach for the picnic or a cooler for the day.

Cruise ships dock at the Cau Da Port pier. very close to some shops and the Oceanographic Museum.
The city of Nha Trang city is 7 miles from the pier. Taxis and trishaws are generally available outside the port gate. A small taxi is about 100.000 Dong one way.
The main attractions of the coastal town of Nha Trang are the monumental Cham Towers and white sand beaches. The area is also known to have the best coastal climate in Vietnam.
The port was established in 1924 and became a popular recreational spot for American sailors during the Vietnam War. Nha Trang's earlier existence, however, goes back to the Cham Kingdom, a civilization that originated with the migration of Malay-Polynesians.
The Cham people are one of Vietnam's ethnic minorities with their own language. In their unique culture, the women select their husbands and give their property to their daughters. Over the years, the Cham have acclimated to the ways of the Vietnamese, while at the same time retaining many of their ancient customs.

Hanoi is my favorite city in Vietnam. I wasn’t so sure after our first trip from two years ago, but a recent month-long stay made it clear.
Among the cities we’ve visited, we found Hoi An to be the most charming and Saigon to have the best food, but Hanoi is the most liveable. It’s a big city, much bigger than Hoi An so there’s more to do, but it doesn’t swallow you up like Saigon. It’s home to about the same population size as Ho Chi Minh City but it feels more intimate and inviting.
In fact, we plan on living from city to city in the near future and Hanoi will probably be our first stop. It’s one of our favorite cities so far and one we can really see ourselves living in.
Spend a few days exploring its tree-lined neighborhoods with crumbling but charming French colonial buildings, and you may understand why.

Da Nang marks the halfway point between the capital in the north, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. It’s the fourth largest city in Vietnam. Apart from some shopping highlights and historical sights, the main reason for most travellers staying here is its proximity to the well-known My Khe Beach, Lang Co Beach, Hoi An and My Son.
Lang Co Beach is lined with palm trees, the water of the nearby ocean crystal-clear and enticing, lapping onto white sand. It is a peninsula with a sparkling lagoon on one side, and the beach on the other. The area is fairly under-developed, although recent years have seen many new hotels opening.
